What happened
On Saturday, 15 August 2026, Fretster invited everyone to the beer garden at Wiebekingstraße 2 in Allach for the second time this summer. From 19:00 the Fretster band played jazz and soul — bass, drums, keys, saxophone and vocals. There was barbecue, and entry was free.
Jam means anyone can join in
The best part of an evening like this isn't the programme — it's what happens between the songs. Anyone who brought an instrument could join in. That is exactly what our lessons are about: you learn music fastest with other people in the room — listening, coming in on time, holding the tempo. You can't practise that alone in your bedroom.
Lots of families, lots of kids
At the tables sat parents with children, neighbours from Allach and people who just followed the sound. For us that's the best part: kids see that music isn't only something on a big stage, but something they can do themselves.
