Rhythm is not simply "beats in time." Rhythm is the brain's ability to predict time.
When you hear a metronome, your brain doesn't just register each beat. It builds a model: "the next beat comes in 0.5 seconds." When the beat arrives on time — the brain releases dopamine. A small pleasure every half second.
That's exactly why you can't not move to a great groove.

We start with the body:
- Clapping and stomping — the pulse must be in the body, not the head
- Counting out loud — "one-and-two-and-three-and" — this is the key
- Only then — the instrument
After 3-4 lessons, most students are surprised: "I never thought I could hold a rhythm."
