How we work

With a plan, not by feel

Every student has a learning plan: a sequence of small, checkable steps instead of “let's see how it goes”. The plan is mandatory — it is what separates a school from a series of private lessons. You get it ready-made and adapt it to your student.

Tools that take work off your hands

Learning plans per instrument, metronome, tuner, ear training and a sheet-music library with play-along — all in the browser, free for you and your students.

The studio is open to you

We help our teachers stay musicians: the rehearsal room and the recording room are available for your own projects. A teacher who stops playing gets worse at teaching.

Your workshop ideas are welcome

Want to run a workshop — on your instrument, on improvisation, on recording, on anything that drives you? Say so. We organise room, date and sign-ups; the content is yours.

What you should bring

  • You play your instrument at a level you can hear
  • You can work with children — or want to learn how
  • German or English for lessons; our families speak both
  • You stick to the learning plan and record what you covered

A degree is not a requirement. We have seen for ourselves how little it says about whether someone can teach a ten-year-old.
